Okay, legit it’s Friday night and people got better things to do that tell me I’m pretty. So I’m gonna start posting fic I’ll never, ever really finish.
This is the start to some stable triad thing where Tom, Chris, and Elsa have an understanding that’s moving on into actual triad town. Think there was supposed to be some sex but then I got tired?
Elsa and India are away. Chris is cranky. Tom calls Elsa. And Tom cooks.
It’s Elsa that takes his phone from him and taps at the screen until her phone number is safely logged for him.
“You can call me and practice your Spanish,” she says, smiling as she hands it back to him. “We can break your little bad habits.”
At the time she was still heavy with India. She’d taken his hand and pressed it to her stomach, let him feel the life it held. Her hands were small compared to his, and delicately soft. Chris had come up behind her, wrapping his arms around her shoulders in a display that didn’t seem at all possessive, but to Tom looked like the closing of a circle. Soon after they’d taken planes in different directions, and time and again Tom let the opportunity to call slip by.
The next he sees her, India has arrived, breathtaking in all her tiny perfection. Once filming of the second Thor movie begins, Elsa says that she wants to be with Chris and to be with her family. Given their lives, it’s perhaps fitting that Elsa sees no reason not to have it all. She starts a cycle of a week with Chris as he films and a week with her family in Spain with her mother to help caring for India. Chris doesn’t complain because it’s simply not in his nature.

I like how this photo set is bookended with Hiddlesworth at the stop JoHiddles (?) at the bottom. You can have both of them, Tom. Go ahead.
